Rochelle tagged me, so I'll happily post six weird things about myself, but I won't do any tagging. Feel free to copy the meme anyhow, the full rules are on Rochelle's blog. For this list I had to ask Jeremy to help me because weird is a matter of perspective and I think I am totally normal, ha ha!
1. I think buttermilk is a delicious, refreshing beverage and I'll often eat a bowl of buttermilk with rye bread cut up in it as though it were cereal.
2. I have memorized most of the dialogue from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, one of my all-time favourite movies.
3. I can move my eyes independently of each other. Some people think it's really gross, others think it's funny.
4. My jaw dislocates and in the past 6 years I've had to go to the emergency room twice to have it relocated - it got stuck open. That's a whole new kind of pain, kids.
5. My name is Margaret and I'm named after my grandmother, Margarita. When I started grade 3, my teacher thought Margaret seemed too old for me and asked if I'd like to be called either Maggie or Peggy. What if I had chosen Peggy? Would I be a totally different person right now?
6. When I was 8 and my sister was 6, she got a Strawberry Shortcake bike for her birthday. It came disassembled in a box and my father promised to assemble it for her the next morning. I was so jealous of her and I wanted to ride the bike so bad that I got up in the middle of the night, assembled it myself and rode it all around the house. The next morning my dad was shocked. He told me how proud he was of me for being able to put the bike together, then he grounded me for a week for appropriating my sister's birthday present.

I do think that if you went with Peggy you'd be a different person. Totally. If my parents had named me Alexandra as planned (I can't tell you how many "A" charms I got as a child because all of my relatives thought - and still think - my name is Alexandra) instead of making that last minute mistake of a lifetime by naming me just plain old Sandra, I'd be a different person. Cooler! More successful! RICH! Jay thought he could make the difference by giving me the nickname Rabsy, but alas, it was too late :(

Yeah, but I bet if they went with Alexandra, it would have been formal only and we all still would have called you Sandra.

That first one isn't weird, it's just Euro. The sixth one however is hilarious. That is soooo awesome. I didn't even know that Peggy came from Margaret, I've never thought about what proper name it was attached to. How odd.

Eeeeeew on the buttermilk. I only use buttermilk with some recipes.
And I don't think we would've been friends if you'd been Peggy ;-)

Yeah, I can't see you as a Peggy. Names are weird - my real first name is Nancy, but I am so NOT a Nancy.
That last one is freakin' hilarious.
And I had to ask Jacob about my weird things too.
