After doing some research and learning that the Peruvian Highland Wool can pill after first wearing I have decided to frog (!) the sleeve and use the yarn doubled up to make a warm lofty sweater for my son. I don’t want to go to all the trouble of knitting up these cables just for the sweater to get all pilly and bleh.
I just came back from the yarn shop and got some Pingouin Le Yarn 3 in navy instead. I’m starting over again. New sleeve pictures as soon as it’s knit up.

I sent you an email about Bloglines. Let me know if you’re still having trouble.
So sad! But definitely worth it in the end. There’s nothing worse than a sweater turning out to be unwearable. I’m selfishly glad that you finished a sleeve first, though, because I found it really helpful to look at your picture.

Good call on frogging. Such a shame, but worth the extra effort I think. You have me thinking about knitting this sweater. If not for me, than for one of my sister-in-laws. Cables are so fun.
Also, I just started the whole Bloglines thing. I’m completely confused. However, I’m trying to put your blog in my list, and haven’t been able to find it. Do you know if you’re in there? I can be pretty stupid about computer things.
